We had lots of youngsters on our Pony Care morning which included an Easter egg hunt, then on Good Friday 8 adults rode to the New Inn at Clifton for lunch which was very much enjoyed.
We also ran a jumping clinic which challenged a couple of the riders but they achieved more than expected plus a pony club day with several super keen kids.
From a personal point of view, Isabel passed her pony club lunge test with flying colours and then the next day won the British Eventing BE90 at Sapey Cross Country which was a surprise as she had made a mistake in the dressage test. So many of the other riders had problems as the course was challenging, but Bryn did not find it a problem, and they have had a great start to the Season.
We're all getting excited about going to Badminton for the Mitsubishi Cup. Bryn seems fit enough after having completed two competitions and coming back fresh each time from the cross country but who knows what will happen, it will be a more technical and much longer course, so will be a challenge.
May 1st bank holiday Monday, we have a 2 hour ride for adults with space still available.
