As an outdoor activity, we hope that riding schools will soon be able to reopen as the lockdown restrictions are slowly lifted. We are hoping that may be before Easter. The horse and ponies have all been occassionally ridden throughout this lockdown to keep then well, as well as having plenty of time out in the field to keep them exercised.
Many of them are very furry as there has been no clipping and trimming done, which did keep them lovely and warm during the recent cold spell. By the time we can open they will be loosing winter coats and we will have to tidy them all up.
We do not know how we will be able to open, maybe just 1 to 1 lessons or very small groups, until guidance is available. We will not open until we feel it is safe to do so.
We are all getting very excited as we are building an outdoor arena that is 60 metres by 30 metres. It will be fabulous to have so much space and to have a full set of show jumps to use too.
